An offshoot of the Italian cosmetics company Selectiva, Aquolina was founded in 2002 in Italy by renowned Italian gourmand Antonella Pascale.

In 2003 Aquolina introduced their very first perfume, the best-selling Pink Sugar. This scent also comes in a shimmering roll on perfume. In 2005, the aptly named Chocolovers fragrance was released followed in 2006 by the men’s scent, Blue Sugar for Men. Blue Sugar is a gourmand scent created to accompany the highly successful Pink Sugar female scent. "The fragrance has the same concept as Pink Sugar and has been very successful since its launch in September," explains Pascale.

The company also carries many types of products. In addition to line of yogurt-based bath & body products called Aquolina Yogurt and a skincare line for teens called Aquolina Viso, they also carry other offshoots that include hair care, lip gloss, body mousse and shower gels.
